Pulire crosses Singapore’s boundary
On the back of an expected growth in the construction
and
supporting
industries in Singapore, AFIDAMP – the
Italian
Association
of Manufacturers and Distributors of Professional Cleaning Equipment
and Products and ISSA - the leading Association of
the cleaning
industry worldwide, have entered into a joint venture with ISSA
to organize Pulire Asia 2007 in Singapore .
Scheduled
for 6-8 February at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition
Centre, Pulire
Asia aims to provide a platform for industry players to network,
to establish
contacts and to showcase their products and services.
Figures from
Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower value the cleaning market
in Singapore
at S$300 million with an expected growth of close to 30 per
cent in the next few years.
The city state is expecting a construction boom with the building of two integrated
resorts that includes gaming facilities, theme parks, convention and exhibition
facilities, hotels. Currently the Singapore government and private developers
are also investing money to breathe life into the downtown area in Singapore.
These activities are expected to boost the support services industries such as
cleaning.
Coupled with the exhibition, a conference is also being planned to run in conjunction
with Pulire Asia 2007. The conference will bring together speakers from around
the world who will share their knowledge and experience to update the delegates
on the latest developments in the cleaning industry.
